UNSM Sustainable Practices CommitteeThe Sustainable Practices Committee was established by UNSM in 2004 to work with municipalities across the province to promote sustainable practices, particularly in the areas of energy conservation and greenhouse gas reduction. The Committee now provides guidance to the Municipal Sustainability Office to help make Nova Scotia municipalities leaders in sustainability. The Sustainable Practices Committee comprises elected representatives, municipal staff and government representatives. |
